Golf Course Etiquette
You need Java to see this applet.
  1. Arrive 30 minutes before your tee time.
  2. Find single golfers to complete the 4-some.
  3. Be ready to play when it is your time to tee off.
  4. Use the course scorecard for reference on yardage, hole layout
    and local rules.
  5. Mark your ball so that you can identify it.
  6. Hit when golfers ahead of you are out of range.
  7. Stand still and quiet, facing other golfers when they are hitting.
  8. Watch where all balls go to avoid time spent looking for lost balls.
  9. Yell the warning "FORE" if your ball is heading toward another
    golfer.
  10. Go directly to your ball unless you reach someone else's ball first.
  11. Player farthest from the hole plays first.  Golfers out of range can
    play first if ready.
  12. Be ready to play when it is your turn.
  13. Keep pace with the group in front of you at all times.
  14. Assist playing partners when needed by bringing clubs, finding
    balls, etc.
  15. Follow posted riding cart rules.
  16. Rake bunkers and replace or sand divots.
  17. Stop your cart between the green and the next tee.
  18. Take all clubs you may need.
  19. Repair your ball marks.  It's simple.  Just do it.
  20. Walk around other players putting lines.
  21. On long putts, have another player tend the flagstick.
  22. Mark your ball if it is in the path of another player's ball.
  23. Record scores on the next tee.
  24. Putt all balls into the hole.  NO GIMME'S.
