Abnormal Ground Conditions - If your ball is in a position where you have interference from an abnormal ground condition (casual water, ground under repair, a hole, runway made by a burrowing animal), you may drop without penalty within one club-length of the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole. If the ball is in a bunker, it must be dropped in the bunker, or under penalty of one stroke, dropped any distance behind the bunker. If the ball is on the putting green, it must be placed at the nearest point of relief. Failure to Hole Out - Rule 3-2 of the USGA Rules of Golf states that "if a competitor fails to hole out at any hole and does not correct his mistake before he makes a stroke on the next teeing ground or, in the case of the last hole of the round, before he leaves the putting green, he is disqualified". Ball struck more than once - If a player's club strikes the ball more than once in the course of a stroke, the player must count the stroke and add a penalty stroke.
