2.  To enter the score in competition, a player must first register with
Official Tournament Committee of the day between 6:30 and 8:00 a.m.
before starting play (some courses have a 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. start
times).

hand and ready to tee off.  Starting order numbers will alternate
between the 1st and 10th tee, with odd numbers using the 1st tee
(except for SHOTGUN starts).

4.  The Division Vice-President or Starters may make exceptions to
above (#3) only for a good reason, such as the inability to assemble a
foursome when tees are open.  Single players may not enter scores in
competition.

5.  “Matches” such as “Bingo-Bango-Bongo” or other significantly time
consuming side contests are not permitted.

6.  All men will use the same men’s tee markers-normally middle
distance or regular tee markers.  Ladies will play from the ladies’ tee
markers.

7.  In the event that a tournament is closed for play by the course
management, or the Division Vice President (usually because of
weather conditions) and before 40 players have completed their
round, the tournament is canceled in its entirety. *

8.  Determination of Flights and Prizes

a.  There will be four handicap flights, with each flight awarding up to
six prizes as follows:  1st = $16; 2nd = $13; 3rd = $11; 4th = $8; 5th =
$7; 6th = $5; Closest to the Pin = $5; Hole-in-one = $100; Double
Eagle = $100

b.  Each flight will have preset handicap limits.  You will know which
flight you are in IF you check the web site and look up your handicap
index.

c.  Flight handicap limits may be adjusted by the Board of Governors in
order to apportion the number of players among the four flights.

d.   In case of a tie, a
tiebreaker formula included in the handicap
program will statistically analyze the scores and select the winner.

9.  Eligibility:

a.  New members must complete three (3) 18-hole Metro Seniors
tournaments to acquire MSLSGA handicaps.  No prize money will be
awarded without a MSLSGA handicap, except for closest-to-the-pin,
hole-in-one, and double eagle prizes.

b.  To be eligible for the late summer 54-hole club championship
tournament, a member must have played five (5) official 18-hole
tournaments in the same year as, and prior to said 54-hole club
championship tournament.  Ties will be settled the same way as stated
above.

c.  All members must play five (5) tournaments per season to retain
their membership in the MSLSGA.  This requirement applies to any
combination of MSLGA tournaments, except special events.

10.  Guests:

To avoid course congestion, the basic regulation is Metro St Louis
Seniors Golf Association MEMBERS ONLY.

NOTE:        *It is the responsibility of the member to contact the
golf course to determine if play has been canceled!
