name on the waiting list by contacting Norm Jennewein.
1. A Wednesday League membership fee of $2.00 is payable to
Norm Jennewein, Secretary of the League
2. A tournament Entry fee of $1.00 must be paid at the time of
registration, and before teeing off on the first tee, if you wish to
participate in the tournament prize monies. Registration is from 6:30
am to 8:30 am.
3. It is necessary to play with at least two other Metro Seniors
Members. NO GUESTS PLEASE!
4. All play is governed by Metro Senior rules. The following local
rules apply to nine holes at Riverside Golf Club: {When high volume
play occurs, there will be tournaments on the front and back nine
holes.)
Out of bounds: Road on the left side of holes 1,2,5 & 6. Stakes mark
OB on hole #3; Ball lying within one club length of OB markers or road
must be played as it lies.
Hazards: Drainage ditch crossing #2 fairway and in front of #8 Tee.
Ditch on right side of #3 fairway. Lakes on holes 3.4, & 8. Ball striking
utility lines and poles on #3 fairway may be replayed without penalty.
Concrete troughs crossing #3 fairway are not hazards but the ball must
be played according to final destination. No relief for balls out of
bounds or in hazards.
5. Please use last name on score card and ALWAYS sign your
scorecard.
6. Score will not be used in figuring handicaps if entry fee has not
been paid.
7. Please make sure that scorecard is turned in immediately alter
your round is completed.
8. If the tournament is rained out before all entrants can start or
finish their round, entry fees will he returned to all entrants,
9. PRIZE MONEY DISTRIBUTION:
10 - 19 Players 2 Places I Class
20 - 40 Players 4 Places 2 Classes
41 - 60 Players 6 Places 3 Classes
61 - 80 Players 8 Places 4 Classes
80 + Players 10 Places 5 Classes
The winners in each class receive 60% of the class proportion of pot.
2nd place winner receives 40%. In case of ties, playoff reverts back to
the first hole or beyond,
10 HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT: If more than one player gets a
hole-in-one in the same tournament, the pot will be split.
11. To be eligible for the Fall tournament, you must have played
10 paid rounds of golf by September 17th. Handicaps are based on
100% of Par differential for the last 10 rounds played before the
tournament.
I2. Weekly handicaps are figured on the average of the 5 lowest
rounds of the last 6 rounds played, based on 100% of the difference
from par.
